Muscular men who could kill me, my beloved

Dragon Ball is a manga series by Akira Toriyama, with several accompanying anime series such as Dragon Ball Z. The series follows the life of Son Goku, an alien martial artist who meets a teenage genius after she hits him with her car. A lot of shenanigans involving aliens, magic, and monkeys ensue.

This show carried me through middle school and beyond. Needless to say, it means quite a bit to me. I've been writing OC-based fanfiction about DBZ since high school and I don't plan on stopping. But, I won't echo the other praises of DBZ here. I'm sure you've heard them, whether or not you like DBZ as a show.

What do I like so much about Dragon Ball?

Well... First of all, look at them:

Second of all, I just think buff aliens are cool. Especially when they're beating each other up. Just imagine being a little sad 12-year-old pre-T boy, seeing this, and having your egg cracked:

I got introduced to the show sometime in middle school. I never had a proper way of watching it for a while, but I found myself enamored with whatever content I could find on YouTube. It was like I was drawn to the show, even if I couldn't watch it beginning-to-end for a while. I leave the rest of those details between me and the kin gods.

Who's my favorite character(s)?

First things first:

For those of you who have not watched DBZ, this is Raditz. He’s Goku’s brother and he kicks off the start of DBZ with kidnapping and threats of mass murder. We see him a few times, but he dies pretty quickly. I would let this smelly, hairy, garbage bin of a Saiyan do unspeakable things to me and my body. Why? Because he’s hot and he could kill me, and what else do I really need in a man?

Speaking of hot men:

I’m sure a lot more people are familiar with Trunks, since he tends to be a popular pick. Like I said earlier, this guy cracked my egg. Maybe being into a dashing swordsman is a little cliche, but whatever. He has pretty hair that's what matters.

Okay aside from hot men though:

Now, maybe you’ll say “but King Kai is hot!”, and you might be onto something. Not my type, though. I just think he’s cool. I’d give a lot to be a minor deity on a little planet, with a cool car and a few animal buddies to enjoy my time with.

I dunno, Gohan's pretty cool. All versions of him. And speaking of cool people:

“But Bulma’s a bitch!” And? It makes her interesting. She’s a genius, she earned the right to be a bitch every now and then.

Favorite fight?

This might not be the flashiest or most exciting DBZ fight, but I have a vendetta against the Future Androids so this is my favorite fight. Once again, it's between me and the kin gods.
